How to send The Big Art Company an image
There are various ways that you can send an image to us. We accept images sent by post, by email, on a CD / DVD or direct from the site.
Sending an image by post
We would ask that you follow some simple rules if you are sending your pictures through the post. Please note that we do return photos received by post.
1) Don't send the original! We are always careful with your photos but we cannot make the same guarantee for the postal service. Please make a copy of your treasured photo and send that instead. Most print firms will happily make a copy from an original or negative.
2) Protect the photo. A piece of card works well and will stop the photo being bent in transit.
3) Please label the photo with your name and address.

Sending an image by email
This is perhaps the quickest and simplest way to get an image to us. Just send an email to photos@thebigartcompany.com and attach your photo/photos to the email. Please bear in mind that good quality digital photos tend to be big files so it may take your email a while to send them.

Sending an image by CD or DVD
With the increase in the number of PCs with CD and DVD burners you may just want to put your images onto a CD and post them to us.
To add files to a CD or DVD you will first need to open your software burner (this is the software that controls what goes onto your CD). Then choose "make a data disk" from the options - this tells the software that you are just adding files to the disk not music or films for example. Next you will have to browse and add the photo you want to send from your PC; these will then appear in the burning software. When you have added all the files click on "next" or "burn" for your PC to transfer the files to the disk. When this process is complete put the CD/DVD in it's case and post to us in a protective covering.
